Day 1 – Cairns to Cooktown
Our Cape York Motorcycle Adventure depart from Edmonton and head up the Kuranda Range, winding through lush rainforest before tackling Black Mountain Road. Continue north to the Daintree to take on the legendary Creb Track, a true adventure through steep climbs and rainforest terrain. Finish the day with an overnight stay at either The Lions Den Hotel or in Cooktown.
Day 2 – Cooktown to Archer River
Fuel up and grab breakfast in Cooktown before riding through Lakefield National Park, where red dirt meets open savannah. Stop for lunch at Musgrave Station, then continue along the Peninsula Development Road (PDR) to reach Archer River Roadhouse for the night.
Day 3 – Archer River to Bramwell Junction
An early start today as we take on the Frenchmans Track, tackling river crossings including the mighty Pascoe River. End the day at Bramwell Junction Roadhouse, ready for the next big challenge.
Day 4 – Bramwell Junction to Punsand Bay
Ride the legendary Old Telegraph Track, conquering iconic crossings like Gunshot Creek and Nolans Brook, with time for a refreshing swim along the way. Cross the Jardine River Ferry and continue to Punsand Bay, your home for the next two nights.
Day 5 – The Tip of Australia
A relaxed day exploring the very top of Australia. Ride to the Tip of Cape York for photos at the sign, visit the famous Croc Tent, and enjoy an optional jet ski ride at the northernmost point of the country. Overnight again at Punsand Bay.
Day 6 – Punsand Bay to Musgrave Roadhouse
Time to head south! Pack up and hit the PDR for the big return leg, making your way back to Musgrave Roadhouse for a well-earned rest.
Day 7 – Musgrave to West Mary Station
From Musgrave, follow the PDR before turning off to tackle the rugged and rocky Old Coach Road, passing through historic Maytown. Finish the day at West Mary Station, surrounded by classic Outback scenery.
Day 8 – West Mary Station to Cairns
Enjoy a relaxed start with breakfast in Mount Molloy, followed by a final fuel stop in Mareeba. Ride the scenic Lake Tinaroo logging trails, visit the Crater Lakes Tea House for lunch, and cruise back down the Gillies Range to return to base in Edmonton.

Jetski Tour with ‘Cape York Jetskis’ at the tip of Australia -$250pp
Meals are partly included — we provide 5 On Track Meals plus a selection of snacks and protein bars. Most other meals are enjoyed at local pubs or servo stops along the way at your own expense. Alcohol and drinks aren’t included but can easily be purchased en route.

A $2,000 security bond is required before departure. This is a temporary hold on your physical credit card (tap-and-pay or mobile payments are not accepted). The bond acts as security for any potential bike damage and will be released once the motorcycle is returned in good condition.
All riders must hold at least a learner motorcycle licence, agree to comply with our tour rules and regulations, and sign an indemnity form prior to joining the tour.
Our tours travel through remote regions where you may encounter challenging terrain, wildlife, deep water crossings, and limited facilities. Safety is our top priority, and Alrock Adventures reserves the right to adjust the route or itinerary at any time due to weather, road conditions, or operational requirements.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding unsafe, reckless, or disrespectful behaviour and reserve the right to remove any participant at any time if deemed necessary, including for medical or behavioural reasons.
Alrock Adventures accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or for any injury, accident, or illness sustained during the tour. Riders participate at their own risk and are encouraged to ensure their personal insurance covers adventure and off-road motorcycle activities.
