What kind of adventures do you offer?

At Alrock Adventures, we offer guided and self-guided motorcycle adventures designed for riders of all levels — from beginners to experienced explorers.

Our tours range from epic multi-day rides like our Cape York 8-Day Adventure (Cairns to the Tip and back), to shorter 3-day tours through the Scenic Rim and Sundown National Park in South East Queensland.

We also run Intro to Dirt Riding tours for those new to off-road riding — a great way to learn the basics in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Prefer to go your own way? We offer motorbike rentals and moto-camping gear, so you can create your own adventure.

Whether it’s tropical river crossings, red-dirt tracks, or scenic mountain trails — we’ve got an adventure to suit every rider.

Yes, at least a current Learners motorcycle license is required for dirt bike rentals and tours. For learner riders, we offer supervised sessions with two-way helmet communication, so you can practice safely with guidance.

Not at all! Our tours are designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re new to dirt bikes or a seasoned rider, we tailor the experience to suit you. Beginners will get guidance and support to build confidence, while experienced riders can enjoy more challenging tracks.

Our tours include bike hire, fuel, all camping gear (tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, pillow) safety gear (helmet, pants, goggles, gloves,) permits, and support throughout the journey. You’ll be guided by experienced riders who know the tracks and hidden gems of FNQ. Just bring your sense of adventure!

Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own bike on our tours. Please send us a message for pricing and we’ll give it a quick check to make sure it’s up for the ride and meets the requirements for the terrain.

Booking is easy through our website. Simply choose your tour or rental option, select your dates, and follow the checkout process. For multi-day tours like Cape York, a deposit is required to secure your spot.

We’ll provide a detailed packing list depending on your tour or rental. For riders, you’ll need your license, and personal essentials.

To ensure the safety of our bikes and equipment, we place a $2000 security authorization hold on your card at the time of pick-up. This is not a charge, but a temporary hold.

The hold will be released once the bikes and equipment are returned in good condition. Depending on your bank, it may take 3–10 business days for the funds to show as available again.

This process is standard in the adventure and rental industry and helps us keep our gear in top condition for all riders.
