Amazing trip. An absolute bucket list adventure. Back from the 8-day Cairns to Cape York trip and it was even better than I could have imagined. Jonno is a great operator, always calm and full of helpful hints and advice when going through tricky terrain. He has everything setup very well on the DRZ’s and has selected a bike perfectly suited to the trip and type of trails. Carrying our own gear and having a night out on the tele track made the trip even more special and a true adventure. A fantastic mix of terrains, flowing trails, single track, high speed gravel, rocky tech slopes, river crossings… the list goes on. 8 days of incredible riding. I can highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for small group remote and unsupported motorbike touring. Now I just need to work out which adventure is next on the list. Maybe vic high country 2027!!!![]()

Cairns 🔄 Cape York, incl. the telegraph track Had a great holiday and experience with Alrock adventures for the last 8 days. We loved the holiday was a more personalised experience with our small group and we got to spent a night camping on the track and a couple of other hidden camping gems. Johno ensured we able to challenge ourselves and have fun with our riding whilst giving us options of difficultly through the technical sections. A huge advantage of being in a smaller friendly group. You’ll be fine, you won’t fall off more than me. If you are unsure about the camping- Johno has thought a lot about the gear- it’s all high quality and a lot of comfort, including the sleeping mat and pillow. Thanks for an unforgettable adventure!![]()

We just completed the 8-day Cairns to Cape York return tour with Alrock Adventures, and it was genuinely the trip of a lifetime. The scenery was incredible, the tour was exceptionally well organised, and every day was packed with great riding, fantastic campsites, and well-chosen stop-offs. There was a perfect mix of terrain, from flowing dirt roads and rocky tracks to sand and creek crossings that kept things exciting and challenging. The bikes were excellent, well maintained, and perfectly suited to the conditions. All of the gear and equipment was top quality too. One of the best parts was that it was just the three of us and Johno. He was very patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating, making sure everyone was comfortable regardless of experience level. Some of the riding can be pretty challenging, but Johno is always there with advice, encouragement, and a helping hand when you need it. He's also incredibly relaxed —whether it was the occasional unplanned detour into the bushes, a lie down in the sand, or getting a little off line, nothing ever felt like a drama. It all just added to the fun of the adventure (and he got most of it on camera). If you're thinking about getting into unsupported adventure bike touring, this trip is an absolute must. You'll learn a huge amount while experiencing some of Australia's best riding. Or if you just want to getting out into the bush, you'll have an equally amazing time. We couldn't recommend Alrock Adventures highly enough and I'm looking forward to booking the Victorian High Country tour in the future.![]()

Had the great pleasure to travel over to Queensland to go on an Alrock Adventures 3 Day Sundown National park ride. Jonno took care of all the details and is a knowledgeable operator and tour guide as well as allowing me enough freedom to indulge my photography passions. Having helmet to helmet comm's was useful as well as Jonno would inform me of approaching vehicles out in the bush or I could pass on the message that the DRZ400 had unexpectedly spat me off and I had had an off track moment. The cafe's along the way were exceptional, the weather had all four seasons in each day, plus the slips and trips just made the weekend more memorable, although the ledger for inadvertently parting company with your Suzuki DRZ400 was 3/1 and not in my favour. Do yourself a solid and go experience an Alrock Adventures bike tour on the venerable Suzuki DRZ400 fully kitted out with the excellent Mosko Moto ADV gear. Jonno put me onto the delicious Australian made @on_track_meals which are my #1 go to feed now for any camping trips. Whether you do the one day Noob introduction tour, the 2 day Sundown national park tour, the Cairns day rides or the experience of an 8 day Cape York tour then I'd choose to travel with Alrock![]()

Had an awesome experience on the Sundown National park tour. These guys made everything simple and had a top notch route planned for plenty of riding on varied terrain through unreal scenery. Tons of fun riding to be had. As a beginner off toad the addition of Cardot in-helmet comms was huge for real time feedback and chat. Highly recommend booking a tour with Alrock.Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 11 reviewsVerified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
